Wow - amazing! 😀 Is that from dives during or after Sardine Run? I did Sardine Run a few years back and it was a dissapointment. But I am very keen on on getting to dive with the raggies during their congregation...I have seen good footage from Aliwal Shoal and Protea Banks....but perhaps Port St Johns is a better choice?

Looks like the wound is healed over. Lucky seal.

One man's lucky escape is another's slow, drawn-out death, I suppose. If infection doesn't kill it, it's dying soon from hunger (catching fewer fish) or predation (easier to catch).

days are numbered for that seal. it will be so slow, it will be eaten up by sharks soon
